It turns out the arts build problem was related to it not being
compatible with autoconf 2.57. The weird thing is, if you had upgraded
from autoconf25 to autoconf2.5, somehow something was left around that
made it continue to still work (which is why I hadn't been able to
reproduce the problem at first).
To fix this I made an autoconf2.54 package and changed KDE's
builddepends to point to it. KDE already preferred "autoconf-2.54" if
it could find it, so I didn't have to modify KDE's build at all.
Chris, I marked myself as the maintainer since I didn't want to foist a
package off on you, but if you want to take maintainership to go along
with the rest of the autoconf stuff, feel free to change it. If not,
that's fine too, it's not like I expect the package to change much. =)
It may be useful to look at for future (incompatible) autoconf packages,
though. I managed to make it build so it's completely out of the way of
the other autoconf stuff, so it can be installed while autoconf2.5 is
installed.
