Dear fink developers,

Because python is now in the crypto tree, everything that depends or
builddepends on python should (in principle) be moved to the crypto tree.
Around 20 or 25 currently-stable packages would be affected, and several
tricky issues would be raised. (One of the tricky issues is that koffice
depends on python, so koffice would move to the crypto tree... then, since
bundle-kde depends on koffice, bundle-kde also has to move to they crypto
tree...)

I'm trying to resolve this situation quickly, before I embark on making the
next binary distribution (which I intend to do shortly).

Here are some questions:
 1) Is it possible to get python out of the crypto tree? I know that there
are a lot of problems with different python versions these days, and
the whole thing needs some work... I *don't* want these problems
solved right now, I just want to know if some minor change to the
python(s) in stable might address this.
 2) Are there any unnecessary dependencies (or builddepends) on python?
Should we perhaps eliminate koffice from bundle-kde for now? Does
    anything depend on that?

I might think of more questions later; I just noticed this problem, during
a trial run of making the binary distribution.
