... so... also the update-all does not solve the compilation problem. It
comes back identical.

The include file is there available:

claudio% ls /System/Library/Frameworks/AudioToolbox.framework/Headers/Au*
/System/Library/Frameworks/AudioToolbox.framework/Headers/AudioConverter.h
/System/Library/Frameworks/AudioToolbox.framework/Headers/AudioFile.h
/System/Library/Frameworks/AudioToolbox.framework/Headers/AudioToolbox.h
/System/Library/Frameworks/AudioToolbox.framework/Headers/AudioUnitUtilities.h

with apparently correct ownership and protection:

-rw-r--r--  1 root  wheel   9498 Jul 25  2002

I'm now updating single packages, to see if this solves the problem.
