clean install of 10.3. Clean fink install, selfupdated this
morning, about seventy packages installed. I type fink
install emacs21-xaw3d and it seems to configure compile and
then some stuff happens that I don't recognize, it
evenutally hangs with:

and hangs there for at least an hour with no disk access and 
emacs and kernal_tas using all the cpu. I send a ^C to it 
after about an hour and a half and get:
