I was under the impression that the 10.2 tree was officially still-supported/not-dead, but in not-being-upgraded mode and users were being urged to install gcc3.3 and switch to the 10.2-gcc3.3 tree. Based on bug reports, it seems like many folks are not upgrading to gcc3.3 (perhaps "why bother" or "why bother when I'm gonna get 10.3 soon"?). Several weeks ago, the package database webpage (which states "This database lists all available Fink packages") stopped searching the 10.2 tree. All this together does not seem very consistent.
So...what's the official word on the 10.2 tree? Should PDB return to searching that tree, or at a minimum state that it does not? dan -- Daniel Macks [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.netspace.org/~dmacks ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.
