oh right you need to add use Fink::Base at the top and on the EXPORTER you need to change

        @ISA             = qw(Exporter);
 to

@ISA = qw(Exporter Fink::Base);


Thanks for reminding me JF, but again i stress this isn't a great patch, but at least we can use fink again till it gets fixed, the project leads need to decide on this @BASEPATH@ crap, I think it was fine how it was. It need to get hard coded someplace...
