Failed: compiling gtk+2-2.2.4-2 failed
This was with only freetype, freetype-bin and freetype-shlibs installed. Installing freetype2 and freetype2-shlibs 2.1.3-11 didn't help.
It appears that neither freetype or freetype2 install a freetype-config file.
