Hello. I used fink to install enlightenment on my 10.3 system, but when I tried to load X11, it would fail with this message:
dyld: /sw/bin/enlightenment can't open library: /sw/lib/libdl.0.dylib (No such file or directory, errno = 2)

I searched the internet for information relating to that error, and found It probably related to the fink package "dlcompat" not being installed. I checked on it, I found the package "dlcompat" was installed, but the pacakge "dlcompat-shlibs" was not. Once I installed dlcompat-shlibs, enlightenment worked correctly.

The package info for the dlcompat packages says:
"dlcompat is no longer necessary for Panther, this package is a placeholder to make old packages happy"

Does enlightenment need to be rebuilt? Or should elcompat-shlibs be added as a dependency for enlightenment?

Thanks for your time, and apologies if this is a known issue.
John
