scctually I just checked the dylib and it's not linking db at all.

[EMAIL PROTECTED] [/sw/fink/dists/local/main/finkinfo]$ otool -L
/sw/lib/libsasl2.2.0.15.dylib
/sw/lib/libsasl2.2.0.15.dylib:
/sw/lib/libsasl2.2.dylib (compatibility version 3.0.0, current
version 3.15.0)
/usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib (compatibility version 1.0.0,

/usr/lib/libresolv.9.dylib (compatibility version 1.0.0,
current version 324.0.0)

so it won't really matter to be honest, unless it's dlopening it, and
it would likely need to be patched for that...have you actually tested
the usage of it?

There's this file though:

$ otool -L /sw/lib/sasl2/libsasldb.2.so
/sw/lib/sasl2/libsasldb.2.so:
/usr/lib/libresolv.9.dylib (compatibility version 1.0.0, current version 324.0.0)
/sw/lib/libdb-4.1.dylib (compatibility version 4.1.0, current version 4.1.25)
/usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib (compatibility version 1.0.0, current version 71.0.0)

I haven't tested it.

I'd rather just get the perl -pi line into the .info file rather
than taking away capabilities of the package.

Best,
Blair
