Fink selfupdate wants to download gpdf-0.112.1.tar.bz2. Unfortunately the mirror ftp://fr.rpmfind.net/linux/gnome.org/sources/gpdf/0.112/ it tries to do so from does not answer. So curl just sits there and counts the seconds.

There is no way out of this situation short of running fink configure to change mirrors.

I seem to remember a time when hitting Ctrl-C in this situation would bring up the usual "choose another mirror" menu. Not so now. Ctrl-C just quits fink update, and when I run it again, it tries the same mirror, with the same result. There would be a dozen other possible gnome mirrors, but it is trained to try the same one as the last time.

There seems to be no built-in timeout either. Or if there is one, it must be higher than 10 minutes, because this is how long I waited.

Ideas?
