Hi, earlier I asked (well, I don't know if it made it to the list... I
submitted it before subscribing) what it would take to help out
maintaining some packages and adding my own package to the list. I'm
going through the list of packages without maintainers and here are the
ones, for now, that I'd like to offer to maintain:
- cyrus21
- dopewars
- flex
- freetype
- freetype-hinting
- guile
- jpilot-ssl
- libproplist
- librep
- php (though, is this really needed with the php4-apache-ssl tree?) - recode
- sendfile
- sgml-entities-iso8879
- xearth
I see a couple of packages that are on the list of packages without
maintainers, but they have maintainers listed. Specifically they have
Justin Hallett.
I'd also like to add my own package, jwgc, which is a jabber client and I
have it hosted at jwgc.sourceforge.net. (it's my own software ;) so
hey), So:
- jwgc
Anyway, let me know what I need to do to begin helping! Thanks! I am
about to read over the guidelines for maintaining and assembling packages.
I only have access to my powerbook running Panther (10.3.3 currently). I
don't know if that is going to be a problem for maintaining packages.
