Hi All,
I just got gdal-1.2.0 to build inside of fink. I changed a few of the
configure options and I know gdal is used by grass. Could someone please
test this package with grass to make sure it works?!?!? I don't want to
break grass, but I don't use it. The package is at:

The changes:
Does not patch config any more....
gdal headers are no longer under include/gdal1, just include
was there a conflict with some other packages headers?
Got rid of -with-grass=no -with-tiff=internal --without-python
--without-ogr --without-pg --without-ogdi
Didn't see a reason in the info file for why these were needed
If someone knows the reason for any, I will put them back in
Now depends on python2.3 and builds the python module
did 2 little patches with perl to fix GNUmakefiles to build inside fink
If anyone has suggestions on this, please let me know:
lib/libgdal.a still has no symbols in it when I try to ranlib it
