On the Apple opensource software web page http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/unix_open_source/ which every Mac owner can find only two clicks away from their Apple menu, there is a link to Fink, but only to version 0.6.2.

There is also a link to an update page http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/submit/ . I think it would be a good idea if someone used this to tell Apple about the existence of 0.7.0 and 0.6.3. Or were they already told and ignored it?

I have done this already. It is part of my routine updates to web-sites and contacts, when a new version is released :) Just takes Apple some time :)
