I can't be more specific, during make install on gettext from fink cvs 
it was installing share/man and share/info in %p/share and not %i/share 
so when it tried to move for splits they aren't there so it would fail, 
I just went in dled the official tarball and it worked fine then 
upgraded...just found it surprising while I was trying to show my boss 
:P

Hi Justin,

I just tried a bootstrap.sh in /swcheck (did not feel like moving my 
/sw) and it completed. Please explain your problem in a bit more 
detail :)
