Good point about the different types of numbers. I just added subheadings to clarify what is what.
The "Point Distribution" heading may be confusing, as the rest of the documentation would call that the Binary Distribution. We should use consistent nomenclature. But then we end up with "Binary Distribution" in the heading, and "bindist" in the subheading, which also may confuse people. Should "Point Distribution" become "Binary Packages", and the three subheadings of "package" become "version"?
We need to somehow visually separate "Point Distribution", "bindist" and "package". At first glance, it could look like there are two columns, each with a label that is two words on top of each other - "Point bindist" and "Distribution package". Maybe you need actual table borders to make obvious cells.
