Dear David,

I can't explain why certain packages aren't compiling with a post gcc-3.3
compiler and other ones are. I'm only adding the flags when my beta
testing reveals a problem.
Could you tell me what was the problem with bluefish? I should not have performed the right tests, as I've missed the problem, or is it a test on pre-Tiger, which would explain why I don't see the problem?

Or is it this warning I see on difference between preprocessor and compiler results issued when executing autoconf?

Whether you want to add the same code to the 10.2-gcc3.3 tree or not is
up to you. It will have no effect in 10.2-gcc3.3, but it might be easier
to maintain a fink package across several trees if the files are identical.
I'll do that, yes, it will be easier.

Is it the same on 10.2 tree? or should I have a special package here (bluefish has also variant, but only one applies to 10.2). I know that it has no much sense to update the 10.2 tree if it is planned to die, but the version in 10.2 is so old, that it may be worth updating it with the last release so that people on 10.2 tree would at least have a version more recent that two years ago.
