[Fink-devel] How to set ConfigureParams during a pm build?

I'd like to package the Device::SerialPort perl module, but I am 
stuck with a problem.  The installation wants to have a valid serial 
port to use for testing.  I've either got to find a way to allow the 
user to specify the serial port location in the ConfigureParams 
during the build process, or I'll have to patch the makefile to rip 
out all the tests.  Putting "NoPerlTests: true" in the .info file is 
not sufficient, as the test code seems to be spread liberally thru 
the makefile.

Can anyone point me at packages that interact with the user to set 
ConfigureParams during the install so I can have an example to study?
