Hi,
After fink selfupdate recently, console application using gettext comes to
show messages with wrong charset (I sometimes use ja_JP.eucJP locale with console applications, but messages now become UTF-8).
I found that /sw/lib/charset.alias file was replaced by libgettext3-shlibs package, and it contains line with '* UTF-8'.
So please don't install charset.alias with libgettext3-shlibs. Old gettext package delete the file after make install.
