I have a problem with dynamic unloading libraries and suspect that it involves the prebinding used by fink, as if I compile the package outside of fink, the problem does not show up. Anyway, which is the correct/best way to switch off the prebinding for a fink package?
There isn't really a way to; the only time we've seen issues is when prebinding gets messed up somehow, and can be fixed by running:
/sw/var/lib/fink/prebound/update-package-prebinding.pl -f
If that still doesn't help, maybe we'll need to figure out a way to turn things off.
