Current g77 in 10.3 can be used _ as is _ in 10.4 _ and I'm not aware of any intentions
of the maintainer to pull it anytime soon.
For g77-dependent packages, many of them insert a "-lcc_dynamic" somewhere, and this must disappear
for 10.4. The current g77 in 10.3 allows to remove already this "- lcc_dynamic" in 10.3
(I've done it locally for a certain number), and it would facilitate greatly the transition
if maintainers would do it already now...
