I have been trying to get rid of this error for a program (labplot) I am trying to create a fink package:
dyld: Symbol not found: __cg_jpeg_resync_to_restart
Referenced from: /System/Library/Frameworks/ ApplicationServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/ImageIO.framework/ Versions/A/ImageIO
Expected in: /sw/lib/libjpeg.62.dylib
Trace/BPT trap
It worked well in Panther. It works fine in Tiger if I remove libjpeg - it seems to conflict with it during runtime! It compiles against libjpeg without any trouble. I tried patching ltmain.sh of libjpeg as suggested in this list but to no vain. Its a clean install of Tiger with a clean start of fink.
Incidentally, I noticed that the same error message on running R (compiled on Panther fink and run on Tiger after upgrade).
