One of the items on Matthew Sachs' build list which fails with gcc 4.0 is
the old version of python, python 2.2.

We already removed python 2.1 from fink when moving to the 10.4-transitional
tree: I'm going to propose that the easiest way to "solve" the gcc 4.0
problem with python 2.2 is to not include python22 in the forthcoming 10.4
tree. This would mean that -py22 variants would also be excluded from the
new tree.

(Note that Apple itself has been shipping python 2.3 since 10.3.)

Any problems with this? python 2.2 things which can't be upgraded?
