Sure. That doesn't change what I said in my last mail, though -- only what I then (incorrectly, apparatnely) said in my first mail.
I still strongly disagree with this and dislike it. Alas, before anybody interprets that the wrong way again (as usually happened in the past), though: I am not trying to force my opinion onto anybody with that statement, nor do I want to re-open the dicussion -- I'm just stating my opinion :-). I accept that Fink has made that decision and will live with it. (By silently ignoring it. as long as I don't have to touch such package, and don't have to provide any support for them, that should easily be possible).
There are lots of cases where they could benefit by sharing things with Fink -- TeXShop comes to mind -- and where an installation by Fink would make a lot of sense.
There is a texshop package in Fink, aye, I noticed and wondered.
