Jeff, Now that gmp 4.2 is in unstable we will need to patch gcc4 to build against it. This issue is discussed in the thread...
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/fortran/2006-04/msg00183.html and the proposed patch is in... http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/fortran/2006-04/msg00190.html which changes the dependency from just gmp (which used to be built against mpfr) to both gmp and mpfr (since gmp 4.2 doesn't build against mpfr anymore). You also might as well take a snapshot of the current gcc 4.1 branch for the next gcc4 package since there is a huge number of fixes for gfortran in there.
