A user reported the following error of the latest plplot (5.6.1) on
10.4-transitional:

Note how g++3.3 and g++4.0 both are used. In the info file I have
only 3.3 defined, which is needed for the 10.4-transitional tree IIRC.
Any ideas what may be going on?
