Thanks for changing the 10.4-transitional update to 10.4. I hadn't made the change in the config file. I made the change, reran fink configure, did a selfupdate and ran "fink install db44-aes-shlibs" and ended up with the same failure.
I need to install the db44 package to update mutt-ssl from 1.4.2.1-6 to 1.5.11-3 but at this point mutt is functioning fine so I can stay with the current version for now. The only other thing that I can think of is to go back to CVS from RSYNC but from what I read from the fink web site that's not recommended at this point.
