FinkCommander Pro, perhaps? :) What you're ultimately talking about though is an IDE for Fink packages. Dare I suggest a plugin interface? :) I'd like to see some way to automate local deployment of the package, i.e., edit it in your development directory, then hit a "deploy" button to copy the .info and .patch into fink's local tree. I currently do this with makefiles. This is clearly a separate operation from building (although there's no reason why deployment should not be a part of the overall build process, if necessary, but it should still be available as a separate command).
