This "chill" will be followed by a proper CVS freeze in a few days,
to enable construction of the 10.4 tree.

The CVS chill is now over. We managed to do the preliminary
construction of the 10.4 tree without actually imposing a CVS freeze,
although it took much longer than anticipated.
The 10.4 tree is based on the state of the 10.4-transitional tree on
January 20, the day the chill began. Some of the more recent changes
were transferred over, but not in any systematic way. So, if you
made changes to 10.4-transitional in spite of the chill, please check
your packages in 10.4 to make sure that that the changes were brought
forward, and bring them forward if not.
General information about the 10.4 tree can be found in the wiki, at
http://wiki.opendarwin.org/index.php/Fink:Packaging:The_10.4_tree .
(This includes a link to information about how to create your own
10.4 fink installation.)
The packages which have not (yet) been brought forward to 10.4 are:
(stable tree)
postgresql74-unified
glade2
gnome-games
dclib0
(unstable tree)
xerces-c23
kmud
celestia-gtk
celestia-kde
grass
grass5.7
hivision
nightfall
pari-gp-xemacs
satellitarium
vtk
ktagit
vnc4
Most of these could probably be brought forward with some more work:
everyone is invited to pitch in and help!
