I believe that the ocaml package was updated to a new upstream
version after your buildrun started.  I haven't tried the new one on

He's also sent a patch that brings ocaml to this revision. I'm not
sure now whether it'd be better to add the patch or wait for the next
ocaml release, but I'm leaning towards adding it once I've checked it
on ppc.

I maintain a fink package for hevea, which needs ocaml to build it. Can I suggest that you start out by packaging the patched version in your experimental directory? Then we can both test it out...
