A couple other observations that I discovered
this morning in my initial attempt at creating a
gcc4 build with current gcc trunk that included
objc and java. Neither of those will be of any
use at -m64 until Leopard arrives. In the case
of objc, the system objc runtime library is
used which doesn't exist PPC64 binaries in
Tiger so that you can't link. A similar issue
exists for gcj since libjava needs to link in
libiconv which likewise doesn't exist on Tiger
as PPC64. All will be good on Leopard though.
