I'm kinda confused about what specific .pc file you're trying to
find. But the current situation is that fink's pkg-config's search
path is:

  /usr/X11R6/lib/pkgconfig:%p/lib/pkgconfig:%p/share/pkgconfig

And beyond that, you're left with manually scripting things into env
vars. Lots of packages already do that.
