For some reasons I didn't update my Fink installation for some time. So today I run a "cvs up" in /sw/fink, then sudo fink list -o
This resulted in the following error: Failed: Error performing percent expansion: unknown % expansion or nesting too deep: "--prefix=/sw --infodir='${prefix}/share/info' -- enable-cxx --libdir='${prefix}/%lib'" (ConfigureParams of /sw/fink/ dists/unstable/main/finkinfo/libs/gmp.info) I verified that the gmp.info in question is straight from HEAD CVS. And 'fink validate' says: $ fink validate dists/unstable/main/finkinfo/libs/gmp.info Validating package file dists/unstable/main/finkinfo/libs/gmp.info... Warning: Malformed dependency "%n (>= 4.2.1-1) %type_num[-64bit]" for "%p/%lib/libgmpxx.3.dylib" in field "shlibs" of "splitoff2". (gmp.info) Warning: Malformed dependency "%n (>= 4.2.1-1) %type_num[-64bit]" for "%p/%lib/libgmp.3.dylib" in field "shlibs" of "splitoff". (gmp.info) Is this simply a bug in that gmp.info (seems unlikely to me, as I can't imagine Dave checking in something w/o testing it). Or a bug/regression, cause by me having an "old" fink version install? $ fink --version Package manager version: 0.25.1 Distribution version: 0.8.1.cvs powerpc $ sw_vers ProductName: Mac OS X ProductVersion: 10.4.8 BuildVersion: 8L127 Cheers, Max ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
