I'm in the middle of building a fink package for an imap server implementation. This server needs to run under a daemon user name and group. Can anyone explain how I should add a new user and group to the system from the fink package file?
I recall that one of the existing packages in the stable tree asked the user if the package should install daemon user accounts but I cannot recall which package does this.
