I noticed some breakage of the build of ccp4
this weekend which appears to be due to the
AutoProtect feature of NAV 10. When AutoProtect
is enabled, the ccp4 build randomly fails due
to the fsplit program incorrectly parsing the
source files for ccp4.
This is the only fink package that I have
run across that is incompatible with NAV 10.
Have any of the other fink developers run
across problems like this? So far, I've not
been able to find a particular directory
that can be excluded from AutoProtect and
still allow the builds to reliably finish.
Excluding /sw/src/fink.build appears to
be insufficient.
             Jack
ps Is there anyway to detect that AutoProtect
is running from the unix shell and abort the
build in those cases with a warning that it
needs to be disabled?
