Dear Fink developers, As you may be aware, in our 10.4 distribution, perl versions older than 5.8.1 are not present, and on intel, perl versions older than 5.8.6 are not present.
Some of us have been talking about setting minimum versions for perl and python in the upcoming 10.5 distribution: the minimum perl would be 5.8.6 and the minimum python would be 2.4 (eliminating the current minimum python 2.3 in 10.4). Is anyone aware of problems with this? If so, please discuss them here.
