The release tarballs for gcc 4.2.0 are now up on gcc.gnu.org's ftp site (although the release is not yet announced). I have updated the packaging on fink tracking for the gcc42 package...

I have built and am testing -m32 and -m64 on a dual G5 as well as a G4. We still need to test on a Core 2 Duo and a Core Duo (for the build on a non-EMT Intel box). Once that is done and gcc 4.2.0 is officially announced we should push this new gcc42 packaging out into fink 10.4 unstable.
