In particular, more specifically, the pkg opal2 installs /sw/lib/ 
libopal.dylib;
openmpi (used to) install /sw/lib/openmpi/libopal.dylib; so all  
openmpi-dependent
should be checked in presence of opal2, to make sure there is no '-L/ 
sw/lib'
flag coming before '-L/sw/lib/openmpi' ...
