Dear developers of Fink,

Revision 1 of FreePascal (10.4 unstable) contains 2 known bugs.
Number 1 shows up when ginstall is present. Number 2 shows up on case
sensitive file systems.

I submitted revision 2 which resolves the ginstall bug, a simple fix.
Alex Hansen already tried it, but ran into bug number 2, since he has
a case sensitive file system and cannot validate it. Would someone
else jump in, whose file system is not case sensitive? I would then
add a warning to the description regarding case sensitive file
systems. But if no one agrees that it is worth to get out this fix, I
would like to save the time.

Resolving bug number 2 is a bit more involved, since it means
building a new bootstrap compiler. The fix is already in the daily
snapshot and first test showed that the changes can be merged into
version 2.2.0. However, getting every detail together and into place
will take some time, but I am willing to do so, since the next
version (2.2.2), which will contain the fix in any case, will take a
couple of months until it will be released.
