I don't wish to offend, but modulo Leopard that's more or less what you said when Rob Hansen and I talked to you at OSCON 2006, nearly a year and a half ago. I'm very appreciative of all the work you put into the Fink project, but at this point we're working with a version of GTK+ that's nearly three years old, and this is impeding both software updates within Fink and the development efforts of open source developers working on the Mac. Is there an ETA? What needs to be done? How can any of us help?
