HI, i was able to build xine and to use amarok on Leopard. First of all i updated to X11 2.1.0.1. You have to fill all the dipendence except xine with fink.
Download xine-lib, i used the latest xine from mercurial, today is 9th decembre 2007 To build: $ ./configure --prefix=/sw --enable-coreaudio you have to edit the src/libffmpeg/makefile and replaced the line xineplug_LTLIBRARIES = xineplug_decode_ff.la xineplug_decode_dvaudio.la with xineplug_LTLIBRARIES = xineplug_decode_dvaudio.la after this edit src/post/Makefile and find the lines: " xineincludedir = $(includedir)/xine xineplugdir = $(XINE_PLUGINDIR) xineplug_ldflags = $(NOUNDEF) -avoid-version -module xinepostdir = $(XINE_PLUGINDIR)/post vidixdir = $(XINE_PLUGINDIR)/vidix SUBDIRS = \ goom visualizations mosaico audio " you have to delete the others SUBDIRS, they don't compile. then $ make $ sudo make install now go to build amarok. Download amarok 1.4.7 ./configure --prefix=/sw edit amarok/src/mediadevice/daap/mongrel/lib/rubygems/Makefile and replace in line 408 ._gem_commands.rd with gem_commands.rd temporary replace /usr/lib/libGL.dylib with /System/Library/Frameworks/OpenGL.framework/Versions/A/Libraries/libGL.dylib $make $sudo make install i hope this can be helpful. i know this is not the better way, but it works. i don't know which feature of xine i lost, but amarok works, and this is what i need.
