There is not enough space on my drive to install this right now, sorry. Your fix seems ok, for some reason the path to the dependent uninstalled library is not being set in the wrapper script, and ltdl will not load dependent libraries (because it knows that darwin's dyld can load them). Seems odd that it should work on elf though, I'd have thought it would fail there too. Oh well, I'll put it on my ever lengthening libtool todo list.
