I have posted packaging to fink tracking to update the
lesstif and openmotif3 packages, changing mesa-libglw to
use variants and to add a new openmotif4 package. The lesstif
package is updated to the current 0.95.0 release. This produces
a quandary for us since as of 0.95.0, the lesstif developers
ceased maintaining support for Motif 1.2. I would argue that
despite fink policy, we should ignore this problem and just
depreciate out the Motif 1.2 shared libraries from the lesstif
package. The previous packaging defaulted to the Motif 2.1
shared libraries for building Motif software so it is highly
unlikely to cause any actual breakage.
The lesstif and openmotif packaging has conflicts added
for the new openmotif4 package. The mesa-libglw package changes
that package over to variants for specific motif packages
since libGLw should be linked to a particular libXm and these
all have header differences. I would like some assistance from
the fink developers in getting these packages into unstable.
              Jack
