Just reporting a problem building "freetype2-dev" 2.1.4-12 on my
machine (PowerPC G4, 10.5.4, gcc 4.0.1 build 5465).

Can anyone repeat this (I'll try freetype219 in the mean time)...

Seems I'm not the first:
http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/msg15268.html

But there's no solution there, either...

FreeType build system -- automatic system detection

The following settings are used:

   platform unix
   compiler cc
   configuration directory ./builds/unix
   configuration rules ./builds/unix/unix.mk

If this does not correspond to your system or settings please remove
the file
`config.mk' from this directory then read the INSTALL file for help.

Otherwise, simply type `make' again to build the library.

Before reporting any errors, please run "fink selfupdate" and
try again. If you continue to have issues, please check to see if the
FAQ on fink's website solves the problem. If not, ask on the fink-users
or fink-beginners mailing lists, with a carbon copy to the maintainer:

        None <fink-devel@lists.sourceforge.net>

Note that this is preferable to emailing the maintainer directly, since
most fink package maintainers do not have access to all possible
hardware and software configurations.
