Yup. I was thinking of http://wiki.finkproject.org/index.php/Fink:Policy:Trees but same trick. > ... > > The following package will be rebuilt: > emboss > The following 15 additional packages will be installed: > base-files fontconfig2-shlibs freetype219 freetype219-shlibs gd2 gd2- > shlibs glib-shlibs libiconv > libiconv-dev libjpeg libjpeg-bin libjpeg-shlibs libpng3 libpng3- > shlibs pkgconfig > > Initially, I got he following error: > > ... > Reading buildlock packages... > All buildlocks accounted for. > /sw/bin/dpkg-lockwait -i /sw/fink/dists/stable/main/binary-darwin- > powerpc/base/base-files_1.9.8-1_darwin-powerpc.deb > (Reading database ... 90615 files and directories currently installed.) > Preparing to replace base-files 1.9.8-1 (using .../base- > files_1.9.8-1_darwin-powerpc.deb) ... > Unpacking replacement base-files ... > Setting up base-files (1.9.8-1) ... You don't *actually* want to go through with the build/install here...I was only suggesting it as a test for missing deps (Depends and BuildDepends) in stable. It's unlikely that actually building/installing even *could* work realiably in general: "foo:BDep:bar" means bar must be installed before building foo. But you are explicitly disabling installed-packages collection, so at certain points within fink, bar isn't seen as installed. Consider: "install 'bar'" "is there an installed 'bar'?" "no" *head asplode*. dan -- Daniel Macks [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.netspace.org/~dmacks ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Fink-devel mailing list [email protected] http://news.gmane.org/gmane.os.apple.fink.devel
