The actual error is couldn't find Python.h in "/System/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.3/include/python2.3" Turns out Apple provides a python-2.3 framework with Leopard, but without the headers. I removed this package from the 10.5 distribution now. If I find the time to look at the whole boost family again, all boost packages earlier than 1.35 will probably go away. Current version is 1.38 or something. But since they have this horrible bjam build system (and are threatening to switch to the equally horrible cmake), I am not pressed to port new versions all the time. -- Martin ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Stay on top of everything new and different, both inside and around Java (TM) technology - register by April 22, and save $200 on the JavaOne (SM) conference, June 2-5, 2009, San Francisco. 300 plus technical and hands-on sessions.
