It works on 10.4.11/powerPC, but when run on 10.5.6/powerPC it throws a
bus error.

When I modified the .info file to avoid the PowerPC-specific stuff, it
built on 10.5.6/Intel, but bus-errored at runtime

I don't have a 10.4/Intel machine to test on.

I'd advocate marking this as Distribution: 10.4 until somebody decides
to adopt it and update it.
