David,
I think the problem is that I am using '-m' constantly when
installing perlmods and these are picking up on missing dependencies
(shown as failures in the testsuite). For example when installing
the intltool40-x86_64.info that I proposed using 'fink -m install
intltool40', the failures in libwww-pm588 are related to a missing
dependency on uri-pm588. I seem to have solved that one by adding
a Depends on uri-pm%type_pkg[perl] to libwww-pm.info but I am still
seeing a couple remaining failures due to Compress::Zlib which I
suspect needs to be installed from compress-zlib-pm.info, no?
Currently this doesn't seem possible as 'fink install compress-zlib-pm588'
does nothing. I suspect we will have a lot of cleanups to do as
the system perl has all of these preinstalled and we will now have
to catch all of these new dependencies for x86_64 10.5 fink.
                  Jack
