Replying to the fink-devel list as well, since I'm not personal technical support for unmaintained packages.
I get the same messages when using the "scilab-atlas" variant, which uses GTK, but on my machine they don't produce a fatal error--the application's console window is created and then continues to work properly. Beyond that, I don't know what to tell you, other than to check the Crash Reporter logs via the Console tool in /Applications/Utilities. ravindra devagiri wrote: > Thankyou for replying, > We still have some problems... > scilab-4.1 is successfully building but the problem is when we running the scilab on command promp it is disappreaing after few seconds by giving below error > =============================================== > macoss-mac-mini:finkinfo macos$ scilab > macoss-mac-mini:finkinfo macos$ > (process:7016): Gtk-WARNING **: Locale not supported by C library. > Using the fallback 'C' locale. > > (zterm:7016): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_window_set_geometry_hints: assertion `GDK_IS_WINDOW (window)' failed > > (zterm:7016): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_window_resize: assertion `GDK_IS_WINDOW (window)' failed > > (zterm:7016): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_window_freeze_toplevel_updates_libgtk_only: assertion `window != NULL' failed > > (zterm:7016): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_window_thaw_toplevel_updates_libgtk_only: assertion `private->update_and_descendants_freeze_count > 0' failed > ================================================= > Check the above problem once......... > > On Wed, May 27, 2009 at 12:24 AM, Alexander Hansen <[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]>> wrote: > > ravindra devagiri wrote: > > Sir, > > > We working on porting scilab-5.* in fink.
