Why, exactly, are you contacting _me_ about this, rather than mailing the lists? None of the packages in question are maintained by me, and I'm not an email gateway.
The answer is "nothing happened", because people forgot about it. And they're going to continue to forget about it if people don't send messages _to the lists_ or at least to the maintainers of the packages in question. I'll push this over to the developers list to try to get some action on it. Otherwise, the unstable tree svn is probably your best bet.
