that's what i can't understand (yet): if I compare the alpine.info files (cvs 1.8 and 1.14 corresponding to alpine-2.0-1 and -6) I see that the checksum for the tarballs have remained unchanged: Source-MD5: 84e44cbf71ed674800a5d57eed9c1c52 so eventhough 1.10 has the cvs-comment 'Alpine update' this seems not to refer to an upstream-update.
